Travel from Mumbai to Delhi through Rajasthan over 14 days and experience all of the treasures and charm this region has to offer. In cities like Agra, you will not only see the Taj Mahal, but also visit a local market and learn how people live.
We will travel to a Bishnoi village and visit with a local family. In addition to understanding the local cultures of the Rajasthani people, we will visit all the must-see palaces and forts. Whether its exploring big, bustling cities or
small, rural villages, discovering local delicacies, wandering maze-like bazaars, experiencing life in the dessert, or marveling at ancient forts—Rajasthan truly has it all.

    Arrive in Mumbai. Sightseeing in the city on Day 2.

    UDAIPUR

    Morning flight to Udaipur on Day 3. Sightseeing by bicycle, visit to City Palace, dinner with a local family.

    RANAKPUR + KUMBHALGARH

    Travel by van to Ranakpur, home of an ancient Jain temple. Continue on to Kumbhalgarh Fort.

    BISHNOI VILLAGE + JODHPUR

    Visit to a Bishnoi village, camel safari outside of Jodhpur + dinner in the dessert, sightseeing in "The Blue City."

    Morning train to Jaipur, visit to the Amber Fort.

    Udaipur

    Marvel at the swirling colours of a traditional Rajasthani dance, soak in the exotic sights and smells of a local market, and take a relaxing cycle ride to a nearby village. We will end the day will a delicious rooftop dinner overlooking the romantic Udaipur lake.

    Camel Safari

    Climb up onto a camel and ride off into the desert for the evening. We will enjoy a local dinner with a camel herder family as well as a desert sunset over Thar Desert before heading back to town for the night.

    Village Visit

    Learn about village life as well as the Bishnoi belief system which values environmental and social harmony above all. Spend time with our friends in their houses, wonder around the village, talk with locals and visit a school.

    Amber Fort

    Climb the hills to the stunning Amber Fort outside of Jaipur. Whether it's the imposing architecture of the exterior, the intricate, delicate art of the interior, or the rich historical tales, you are sure to find something that fascinates you at this famous Rajasthani Fort.

    Taj Mahal

    Gape in awe at the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Spend some time wandering around the courtyard, taking in the architecture, history, and refined beauty of this world-famous mausoleum.

    Travel Style

    At Reality Tours and Travel, we want you to be able to explore India as authentically as possible. This means not restricting you to a suffocating itinerary, but also giving you the appropriate guidance and knowledge that will enable you to gain a good understanding of the places you visit. On this trip there will be a balanced mix of included activities, and free time to explore on your own.

    Accomodations

    Accommodation is always in locally owned mid-range hotels. All have hot water and most have Wi-Fi. Transport is varied, which means you’ll get to experience Rajasthan by plane, train, van, rickshaw, and even camel!

    Accommodation in this itinerary is based on two people (of the same gender) per room. You are welcome to pay extra to have a room to yourself throughout the trip- please get in touch for costs.

    This tour package includes five dinners and two lunches, as well as a range of activities and entrance fees along the way.
