Jaipur is home to some of the most magnificent architectural wonders in the country. The beautiful Hawa Mahal and the splendid Nahargarh Fort are situated in Jaipur. The Northern Gate was called the Zorawar Singh Gate and there were many gates towards the South. The gates used to be opened at sunrise and closed at sunset.

There are also many temples in Jaipur, which is why the city is also called Chota Kashi. Some of the important temples of Jaipur include the Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Temple, the Govind Dev Ji Temple and the Galtaji Temple.
Touring the city of Jaipur is easy as it well connected to nearby states and cities by a network of roads. The city has the Jaipur Bus Rapid Transit Service which connects it to nearby cities. It is also connected to Delhi and all major cities in the country by rail. The nearest airport is the Jaipur International Airport which is situated at a distance of 10 km from the city.
