LONG ITINERARY
Day 01 : Kolkata – Bagdogra – Gangtok (1547 m)
Day Highlights : Rugged and Whirling Terrains, Picturesque and Scenic Views
You will board your flight from the Kolkata airport and land at Bagdogra, followed by your transfer to Gangtok. The drive till here will be an exhilarating and astounding experience for sure! Witness and enjoy the beauty and enthrallment of the whirling terrains and the picturesque backgrounds. On arrival in Gangtok, check-in into the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02 : Gangtok to Martam (1363 m)
Day Highlights : Biking Uphill and Downhill, Kholaand, Rumket Monastery
Today morning, after having breakfast in the hotel, you will be embarking on biking expedition. Mount your bikes and take on the road as you zip past the picturesque locales of Gangtok and ride to Rani Kholaand and then to Rumtek. The road takes a downhill inclination till Rani Kholaan and then will take you on an upward climb till Rumtek. En route, visit the holy Rumtek monastery and behold peace and serenity of mind. Arrival in Martam will be embraced with checking-in into the hotel; overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 03 : Martam to Temi (1448 m)
Day Highlights : Sirwani Bridge, Temi tea garden
The third day will take you on another exhilarating ride through the rugged terrain of Sikkim. Challenge the beautiful and winding roads of Martam to reach the Sirwani Bridge, situated at a distance of about 350 metres from Martam over the Teesta River. The journey from Martan to the Sirwani Bridge is a downhill ride and is an amazing experience for every nature lover and avid biker. Moving further, the road will take you on an uphill climb and finally to Temi Tea Garden. Feast your eyes on the lush green blanket of tender tea leaves as you wind up for the day. Hereafter, you will be checked-in into a lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 04 : Temi Tea Garden to Ravangla (2040 m)
Day Highlights : Ralang Monastery, Tendong Hill
Today, you will be leaving the lush green and aromatic environs of the Temi tea garden and move ahead towards Ravangla. The roads, as usual are extremely beautiful, refreshing and enjoyable. The route you take will go through Damthang (2051m), which is known to be the abode of recluse Llamas and is their meditating ground. One of the most popular tourist attractions here is the Tendong Hill, which is quite popular among the trekkers. In the afternoon, you will be taken to explore the Ralang Monastery followed by an overnight stay in Ravangla lodge.
Day 05 : Ravangla to Tashiding (1470 m)
Day Highlights : Rangit Dam, Kirateswar Mahadev Temple, Legship, Tashiding Monastery
After having breakfast in the lodge, ride through the rugged terrains and reach Legship, which is situated at an elevation of 520 metres. It is a small village in West Sikkim and you can visit some off the popular tourist spots like Rangit Dam and the Kirateswar Mahadev Temple. Post this, an upward ride will take you to the lovely campsite of Tashiding which is known for its natural beauty and the tranquil atmosphere of its Buddhist monastery. Situated atop a hill which rises between the Rathong Chu and the River Rangeet, the Tashiding Monastery is the perfect place to wind up the day of and cherish the exciting memories of biking; overnight stay in a camp.
Day 06 : Tashiding to Yuksam
Day Highlights : Tashiding Monastery Visit, Dubdi monastery
You will start your day with an early morning walk to the Tashiding Monastery and explore its mystique appeal and outlook. Later, you can enjoy biking around the heritage Yuksam Village, which was the first capital of Sikkim. This settlement holds great religious significance among the Bhutia Tribal community of Sikkim and has a number of monasteries and historical monuments. If there is enough time, you will be taken to visit the Dubdi monastery on foot. Hereafter, you will be checked-in into a hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 07 : Yuksam to Pemayangste (2085 m)
Day Highlights : Uphill Ride
Today, you will be riding uphill to the Pemayangste Village. The journey till here comprises of scenic and picturesque views. Upon arrival in Pemayangste, check-in into a lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 08 : Pemayangste to Darjeeling
Today, you will be riding to the most sought after hill station of Eastern India. Darjeeling, popularly called ‘The Queen of the Hills’, is the home to some of the best varieties of tea in the world. The biking expedition will conclude upon your arrival in Darjeeling. Arriving in the town, you will be checked-in into one of the hotels; overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09 : Sightseeing in Darjeeling

Relax in the refreshing surroundings of Darjeeling and explore its picture-perfect surroundings. Almost the entire day will be dedicated towards sightseeing in Darjeeling.
Day 10 : Darjeeling to Bagdogra

After having breakfast in Darjeeling, you will be driven to Bagdogra. Following your arrival, you will be transferred to the airport from where you can proceed towards your home with an enchanting list of memories amidst the magical ambience of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
