Seven peace Pagodas in India
Peace Pagoda is also known as Vishwa Shanti Stupa is a Buddhists monument to inspire peace to all races and creeds. Vishwa Shanti Stupas has been created across the world in search for world peace by a Buddhist monk. There are 7 Peace Pagoda or Shanti Stupas in India, other Stupas are Global Vipassana Pagoda Mumbai,Deekshabhoomi Stupa Nagpur and Buddha Smriti Park Stupa Patna. Vishwa Shanti Stupa -Ladakh
A white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa is called as Shanti Stupa and part of the Peace Pagoda mission. Shanti Stupa is one of the major tourist attraction and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape of surrounding mountains.
