Paragliding is an adventure sport and has its attendant risks. Go for options with trained pilots. Inspect that safety measures have been incorporated. Hindustan Times had reported (some years back) on the declining safety standards adhered by operators offering paragliding at Manali.
Tip
The short one minute flight offered at Solang valley is avoidable as it does not let you enjoy the thrill of flying. Best would be to take the high flight of 15 minutes. Contact any of the listed operator for paragliding one day in advance and go for paragliding early in the morning.
