Conversation btwn two Indians who happen to be would be groom/bride?
This girl met me on a leading matrimonial portal, we exchanged numbers and started chatting.
She: Are you on Instagram?
Me: Yes, but why Instagram? (who asks for Instagram on marriage proposal chat?)
She: You know, it would be good to know through your pics.
Me: Oh OK. Ya, I'm there on insta.
She: OK follow me @xxx.. (SomeWeirdUserName)
Me: OK.
Quickly got that Instagram notification. Opened her profile.
Oh god, Duck-face duck-face everywhere..
- Rejection Criteria 1 met.
She: Oh, you look nice.
Me: Thanks.
She: OK tell me one thing. Don't you have a tattoo on your body?
Me: Er tattoo? No.
She: No tattoo?? (sad emoticons) I have on my shoulder. It looks nice. I have my mom's name inked. (on shoulder?)
Me: Good. (my strong attempt to act normal)

She: Ok, tell me, you people live in 2bhk or an individual house?
Me: Umm, WE PEOPLE live in 1bhk house in our colony.
She: Ohhh.. (as if we're from Somalia) See Sujit (yeah come on come on I know what's next) actually I've been brought up in a quite a big house and..
- Rejection criteria 3 met.
Me: (Patience level = blown) ..and yeah in fact I was going to tell you this earlier, that you seem to be a high society girl, and I am very middle class guy. So I doubt we can have future, in fact I doubt if we could ever meet.. Yeah, so... :) nice to talk to you. :) Best luck for your hunt :)

PS: I didn't reject because she had a tattoo, but because of her attitude towards me not having a tattoo. I absolutely did not have any problem with someone having a tattoo, nor will ever have. But that reaction when I said I don't have one.. was questionable..
