Introduction

On 18 October 1991, during excavation, 28”x18” very old Tirthankar idol of Adinath was found. The idol is unique with Adinath carved in the center and the rest 23 Tirthankars on 3 sides. These idols are 1400-1500 hundred years old. A temple was built and these idols were installed. Plans are underway to develop this Kshetra.
Two impressive stone idols, one of Shri Adinath Bhagwan and other of Mata Chakreshwari Devi were recovered during excavation work in October 1991, The recovery of these idols was followed by several miracles, witnessed by the local people, including conversion of bitter water to sweet drinkable water in the whole area. It is claimed by the Jain saints that both the idols are 1400 to 1500 years old. A large and impressive temple has constructed , where these idols has been installed in April, 2006. The plans for near future include a guest house, library, a college and bird-sanctuary.
