Rs.100 crore club mere nomenclature: Big B, SRK

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Bollywood's 'badshah' Shah Rukh Khan are united in the thought that the "Rs.100 crore club" is a mere nomenclature.

"This is just a nomenclature, which is media created," Amitabh said at a day-long conclave to mark a media house's 25th anniversary.

Shah Rukh agreed and said that those who are serious about the business need to think about much more.

"The true people who are really interested in the business of cinema, and talk about Rs.1000 crore. ThisRs.100 crore and Rs.200 crore will keep changing. For a regular commercial film with a certain level of stardom, Rs.100 crore is just the base," he said.

In 2013, films like "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", "Chennai Express", "Bhaag Milkh Bhaag", "Krrish 3" and "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela" have managed to surpass the Rs.100 crore mark.

Shah Rukh's "Chennai Express" minted Rs.216 crore.

Priyanka sizzles in Gunday cabaret act

Priyanka Chopra's recent item numbers in Zanjeer and Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram- leela did not quite create fireworks and the actress is now all set to flaunt her curves in a cabaret number for the forthcoming Gunday.

The film's director Ali Abbas Zafar has posted a couple of sizzling stills of Priyanka in the cabaret number on a social networking site. Although the name of the song hasn't been revealed yet, it is meant to be the actress's introductory number in the film.

Priyanka dons a jazzy costume in nude hues with golden shimmer. A touch of feather and a bobbed hairdo add to the retro effect.

Gunday is the story of two refugees who grow up in Kolkata of the seventies and eighties and go on to become coal mafia dons. The film casts Priyanka as cabaret dancer Nandita, necessary to set up the obvious love triangle for the heroes.

The actress, wearing high golden heels, reminds one of the seventies, when the cabaret was a regular fare in Bollywood flicks. The backdrop is a red stage portraying a huge clock.

Bosco- Caesar have choreographed the number sung by Neha Bhasin and Bappi Lahiri. Sohail Sen has composed it on Irshad Kamil's lyrics.

The official trailer of Gunday will be released at Dubai International Film Festival while the movie is scheduled to release on Valentine's Day next year.
