What makes India beautiful?:
India is one of my favourite countries in the world; with every turn there’s a new fort or temple to explore, chai to drink, animals to navigate around or person to talk to – I thrive off the vibrant chaos! Although some of the best moments I’ve experienced in India went uncaptured, like clinging to the steps surrounding the Pushkar lake for dear life as the heavy rain during monsoon season created mini waterfalls around the lake, or eating dhal on the floor of a cook’s small home in Rishikesh as he told us about how he was orphaned at a young age and now thought of the Ganges as his mother, here are some photos of India that feature the beautiful places I explored, and people I encountered:

![One of my favourite things about India is that despite the hurry, strangers are never too busy to help each other out, whether it's by hopping into the front seat of an autorickshaw to help a driver find their destination, or lend a hand squeezing a scooter into a cramped alley](http://www.tanisha.co/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/image10.jpg)
