WORLD CANCER DAY COMMEMORATION/BENEFIT 2016
Thursday 4th February, 2016, Wazobia Hall, Sheraton Abuja Hotel.
World Cancer Day 2016 Commemoration/Benefit Event will bring together stakeholders, cancer survivors, cancer control advocate, philanthropists and the general public to discuss what we already know about late detection of cancer and what we can do to phase-out it out of Nigeria and Africa.

BREAST CANCER NAVIGATION AND PALLIATIVE PROGRAMME (BCNPP)
In 2015 World Cancer Day, we launched the Breast Cancer Navigation Programme (BCNP) and we are delighted to present to the world that we will implementation of the project with funding support from Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and Pfizer.
ONE MILLION SIGNATURES AGAINST CANCER
This will feature pictures of friends and relations who have been affected by cancer on the banners and the general public will be placing their signatures on the banners to show their support and advocacy against cancer. Signing of signatures against cancer wil be unveiled by the Honourable Minister of Health and assisted by cancer survivors and celebrities Chidinma Ekile "Miss Kedike", Oge Okoye, Korede Bello, Patience Ozokwor, OC Ukeje, Tuface Idibia, Annie Idibia and Banky W.
MEET THE CANCER CHAMPION (MCC)
We will bring four (4) cancer survivors to share their stories and stimulate pragmatic cancer awareness through the public appearance.
FASHION & ART FOR CANCER
We will be engaging extraordinary fashion designers including the award winning- Hauwa Liman and creative painters/artist to be lead by Buchi Uzodimma; they will be exhibiting their collections and artworks to fund raise to support people battling with cancer.
WORLD CANCER DAY WALK, RACE & CYCLING AGAINST CANCER 2016
Saturday 6th February, 2016, Sheraton Abuja Hotel, Football Pitch, 7am
Over 400 women, 400 men, 600 youths and 50 cyclists will be joining us, the rest of the World and Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to commemorate World Cancer Day 2016 in Abuja to take a1km WALK, 5km RACE and 10km CYCLING to raise strategic awareness, reduce the number of new cases, increase early detection through free screenings, fund raise to treat more cancers successfully and those we cannot, we can ease the last days for cancer patients through appropriate palliative care and pain relief. We strongly believe in this years' World Cancer Day theme, which says: "WE CAN, I CAN" join the fight against cancer.

PREMIERE OF CANCER DOCUMENTARY FILM "VICTORS & VICTIMS"
Sunday 14th February, 2016, Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Abuja Hotel.
Victors & Victim is a real story of three Nigerians who had breast cancer, two survived and one died. Their stories were captured in their environment, interspersed between cancer survivors life after surgery/chemotherapy and victims' family, the funeral and family life after a relatives death of cancer.
