Karan Singh from India, born weighing 13 lbs and 24in tall, would not be out of place as a Guinness World Record holder for the tallest five-year-old in the world.
Being way bigger than the rest of the children in his age group - he is already 5ft 7in tall and growing faster than his peers - he faced a lot of awkwardness during his initial days at school.
"When he started school, kids would run away from him. With time, the kids got used to him and now he has many friends," Karan's father Sanjay Singh told the Times of India.
"In some cases, because of excessive release of a growth hormone, a person's height might increase up till the age of 25," Harish Mohan Rastogi, a doctor who studied human growth, told the Times of India.
