Why didn't any Indian King or Prince fight against newly Independent India by reclaim...? 

Not 100, but there were more than 300 princely states at the time of independence.

Sardar Wallabh bhai patel took this responsibility to pursue all the kings/princes to choose India over Pakistan. His greatest victory was to persuade the Nizam of Hyderabad, who, due to Muslim majority was keen to join Pakistan.

Although few Kashmiris are asking for a seperate state, but then King of Kashmir, Raja Hari Singh ji, signed this memorendum of joining the Indian state and not Pakistan.

However, most of them were more than happy to come under one flag due to following reasons.

1. They weren’t left with enough resources to run a kingdom.
2. They didn’t have any army of their own to offer security to the people.(The army left was for namesake and practically bodyguards only.)
3. They had already seen the result of fighting with neighboring states.
4. They wave of independence was quite influential, and when people have forced Britishers to leave India, expecting them to obey the rule of these kings seemed too far fetched.

Besides this, their prestige is still intact, even today, they and their family members are treated like God in their own kingdom.
