The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels is designed and embroidered in a contemporary royal style to experience a taste of royalty and enjoy a royal feast onboard, where every moment is woven together into an everlasting and immemorial experience. The magic of the splendid journey to the land of kings, majestic forts, incredible palaces, temple towns, diverse cultures and varied landscapes starts from Delhi. Discover the adventurous escapades to the wilds of Ranthambore, experience the magic of Udaipur, get a glimpse of the art and sculpture of the temples of Khajuraho, breathe in the spirituality of Varanasi and see the wonder of the world at Agra.
Royal Rajasthan on wheels offers a spectacular voyage to conjure the romance of the ‘Land of Maharajas’. With interiors adorned with ethnic artworks the train recreates the ambience of the personal carriages used by the erstwhile kings. A weeklong tour aboard Royal Rajasthan on Wheels offers an enchanting experience illumining the rich heritage and regal past of Rajasthan.

Accommodation

The Train has 14 passenger coaches, with 2 types of accommodation options.
Deluxe Saloon
13 coaches have three Deluxe Saloons on each coach. The saloon has been designed to live up to the grandeur of contemporary princely living with elegant silk furnishings for a befitting aesthetic appeal. These saloons have been thematically designed with co-ordinated colour schemes and textures to augment their splendour. Your chamber offers luxuries with meticulously chosen bedding and upholstery, writing-table and chair to make your stay more comfortable. Each coach is named after famous places of Rajasthan such as Hawa Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Surya Mahal, Moti Mahal, etc. Each deluxe saloon has different color themes of exquisite jewels like Ruby, Pearl and Sapphire.
Super Deluxe Saloon
The 14th coach has 2 Super Deluxe Saloons. The Super Deluxe Coach is called Taj Mahal. Super Deluxe Suites offers a spacious living with complete comfort of royal suites. The exquisite silk and velvet bedspreads and draperies take you to an era of royal living. The finely carved wooden furniture adds to your experience. The bed in the cabin is large and comfortable with colour-coordinated draperies. The ottoman, sofa-chairs and writing table have been provided to make your stay more comfortable. The suites have been named after the two precious stones, Emerald and Diamond.

Dining / Lounge
|
The train has two restaurants namely ‘Swaran Mahal’ amd ‘Sheesh Mahal’. Sheesh Mahal has been adorned with splendid floor lamps and crystal pelmets; the entire resto-bar is made of wood and crystal. The Swarn Mahal has been planned around a theme of gold and brass. These restaurants offer mouth watering delicacies including ethnic Rajasthani, Indian, Continental and Chinese Cuisines. The entire restaurant is made of wood and crystal and food is served with customized hand-made cutlery and specially designed crockery.
The finest wines and international brands of liquor are available in the two resto-lounges. In addition, the train has an excellent spa on board. The spa can offer you various massages and therapies on board.
