The line from Jasai to JNPT is double line non electrified. This short distance is covered under diesel power. A Shakti leads a container rake past the IOC depot towards JNPT. This was due to derailment near Kurla and all slow EMUs were diverted to run on track no.3 and 4. People actually stopped the train by showing their thumb just like as if they are asking for a lift on a highway.
