A strong earthquake measuring 7.8 on Richter Scale rocked Japan on Saturday evening.
Reports suggested that the earthquake was initially of magnitude of 8.5. No tsunami alert has been issued as of now.
US Geological Survey reports 7.8-magnitude tremor approximately 874 kms from city in Pacific Ocean.
Meanwhile, tremors were felt in certain parts of India. The tremors were felt in Delhi and NCR region.
