Crime Branch of Ahmedabad Police today arrested one person whose name is Irfan Fakir with 50 crude bombs from Narol-Vishala highway near Ruby marbles which is extended part of Juhapura. Tobacco tins were used for making these bombs. Irfan works in private company.
Low intensity bombs are defused by Bomb Disposal Squad. They were made using the material used for making crackers. If sparked off, they can cause a low intensity blast without much effect.
Ahead of Rath Yatra, police has intensified its search and combing operation across the city. Irfan was held when Crime Branch team was on patrolling early in morning. Main accused is still at large.
