How is life at 27 in India?

Life at age 27 in India is wild. You are up for some serious adventure and decision making, which you have been avoiding since time immemorial.

You saw that cute girl getting married to someone else. You open your facebook page and suddenly feel that the entire world is either getting married or celebrating honeymoon except you and your dog. And that's what your parents also want to know now! why not you ! Go get a life, get married and post your pics on facebook.
That's what the world is doing,India is doing and so should you.

Oh! How can you marry ? You failed to book a flat too. The uncle(mom and dad are default in all the cases) and sometimes your manager also reminds you to book one. Its high time! Its just 30k EMI and 10L down payment dude.  Flat is an important asset if you want to score points in the "marriage market".That's  a good advice it lessens your chances of rejection. Be competitive!

Yes competitive that's what the manager also tells you in one of the company meetings. When you ask "how", he tries to remember the points he was taught in his 14L extravagant MBA class. Finally, he comes up with a good answer . After all, he is good in marketing and poor in management.

Your mind starts to wonder why not me instead of him? After all I am smart ,hard working - any day better than my manager. Lets do MBA. You do nothing but start day dreaming! After all, you have found the panacea! Little time travel does no harm.

You are back to facebook. You must  connect with your old pals. You  need some advice to accomplish your newly found goal. What! Everyone is already in united states. Panic grips you . Am I late or loser ? (low voices of mom dad, that neighbours' too this time in your head). Can you hear that ?

More friends are flying to united states, australia and germany than andaman and nicobar islands for holiday. Its beautiful place- you should go there if you haven't.
Brain drain hits your brain. India ?Who cares? My life My choice!

You desperately want to go somewhere by now but end up in that theka(liquor shop). With a bottle you are back to your home - on your bed - on the laptop - on quora - you see the question "What is life at age 27 in India ? "
