Vyapam Scam - further analysis

All this #Vyapam muddle started in Arjun singh's era.Initially it was for children of congress politicians and high officers, but slowly greed came in and it percolated to people with money who were ready to pay to make there useless children get govt positions and medical seats.

There was no electronic media except Doordarshan then and even print media was dependent on Govt advertisement's so all rumours about it were never followed by media sincerely.

Vyapam scandal was first reported in the year 2000,who was CM at that time?
Mr.Digvijaya Singh was the CM of Madhya Pradesh from 7th Dec 1993 to 8th Dec 2003 and this Vyapam scam and major killings took place during that time.

Uncovering Vyapam: Does the buck really stop with the BJP and Chouhan?

Then Shivraj Singh started clearing the muck and he jailed lot of people. He constituted SIT for same and it is functioning under HC of people.

Here are facts to remember :

One of the first complaints were registered way back in 2000, but it was only by 2007 that the scam came to fore as a full fledged professional racket. Investigations and arrests started in 2013 after new details emerged.

The MPPEB has been responsible for conducting entry into professional courses like the Pre-Medical examinations for the state since 1982. Complaints of irregularities while conducting the examinations first surfaced in 2009, and the scam blew over in 2013.

The Vyapam scam pertains to manipulation in the selection process for government jobs conducted by MPPEB which came to light after a report by the Madhya Pradesh Local Fund Audit office for 2007-08 found alleged financial and administrative irregularities, including unauthorized disposal of application forms, worth crores of rupees by the MPPEB.

In 2009, complaints of irregularities in the pre-medical test (PMT) surfaced. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan set up a committee to look into these irregularities in 2009; the committee submitted its report in 2011.

In July 2011, MPPEB monitored 145 suspects during the Pre-Medical Test (PMT). Most of the suspects did not turn up, but 8 were caught for impersonating others.

This included Kanpur-based Satyendra Varma, who had accepted ₹ 4 lakh to appear in place of Ashish Yadav, in Indore. 15 exam toppers from the previous year appeared for the exam. Suspecting that these people were called in to impersonate others, MPPEB asked them to explain their reasons for re-taking the exams.

In July 2013, the crime branch at Indore arrested 20 people, 17 from Uttar Pradesh for impersonating MPPMT candidates. The lid blew over what was apparently an entirely rigged system.

A list containing names of 317 candidates was confiscated from Dr Jagdish Sagar, considered to be the mastermind of the scam. He was arrested by the Indore police on July 12, nine days before the PMT counselling.

Later, MPPEB also started using biometric technology: thumb impressions and photographs of all the persons appearing for the exam were taken to be matched during the post-results counselling.

In November 2011, a government probe committee headed by the State Joint Director of Medical Education submitted a report stating that 100+ students had passed PMT using impersonation. In December 2011, the MP Government announced that all the students who had gained admissions by fraudulent means would be asked to quit their courses. This included those who had spent some years taking the course.

More people died in Congress era mainly those who were middlemen. Witnesses are being wiped out by design and congress is trying to put blame on BJP govt. Rot is too deep, lot of officers are involved, so they are killing smaller fish who can lead to bigger fish. It is real murky, but the moment it will be established that Congress leaders are involved ,media will go dead silent as they have done in Lalit modi case.

Arrests and accusations:

In December 2013, the Special Task Force investigating the scam under the supervision of SIT formed by the Madhya Pradesh High Court produced a supplementary charge-sheet against the 34 accused in the Indore district court. The charge-sheet ran into 23,000 pages and 30 out of the accused were the parents of children.

In April next year, 27 students of MGM College were expelled for fraudulently clearing PMT-2012. These were only those who could be identified, the total number of fraudulent candidates was 286 that year.
In June 2014, the STF said that the police had arrested close to 100 medical candidates in connection with the scam.

On the 16th of the same month, the former technical education minister in the BJP govt in the state, Laxmikant Sharma was arrested for his involvement in the contractual teachers scam.

Those arrested in connection with the impropriety also include MPPEB’s exam controller Pankaj Trivedi, MPPEB’s system analysts Nitin Mahendra and Ajay Sen and state PMT’s examination in-charge C. K. Mishra.

There are almost 2,000 accused in the scam, which includes scores of high ranking officials and also politicians in the Madhya Pradesh government. Around 1,900 are reportedly in jail and 500 said to be absconding.

Digvijay singh was caught in high court with forged documents, SIT proved it.

Main accused is Congress Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, FIR registered. A BJP guy is also arrested which shows Shivraj is not trying to save anyone.
SC has already rejected Digvijaya's plea for CBI inquiry into Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.

MEDIA WONT TELL YOU
  • Lawyer Vivek Tankha representing whistle-blowers in#Vyapam scam contested LS election on Congress ticket last year.

  • Apparently cameraman accompanying journalist Akshay Singh who died, ate and drank the same stuff as he did.
For some reason cameraman's account of last few days with Akshay Singh doesn't seem to make it to news stories.

  • Digvijay Singh attempted to stop the investigation 3 times in the past but HC and SC rejected the demand to move the case to CBI.
Now I don't know who to believe or not, as every media house is giving a different figure for what they call "mysterious deaths" in Vyapam Scam. TNow says44, HT says 37, FirstPost says 50, India Today says 45, Hindu says 41. Who is lying?

Now let's see what STF says. As per the STF working under the supervision of the HC and court monitored SIT - 2000 accused have been arrested since 2009, many being high profile politicians, bureaucrats, middlemen, students etc. And 25 people have died.

Out of which 10 died in road accidents, 3 committed suicide and the rest 10 died due to various reasons like Alcoholism, Brain Haemorrhage, Cancer, Heart Attack, Liver Infection, Adverse Drug Reaction and other illness. Last two died in late June, hence reasons unknown. Also many of these deaths happened around 2009 and 2012, before the main investigation started.

So on what basis is the media labelling all these investigated deaths as "mysterious deaths"? Also in India 10 people per 1000 die naturally every year. And here we are speaking of 25 deaths in 5 years. Why this fuss?

The fact is Vyapam is a very large scale scam belonging to the Congress era. And now after many many years of Court monitored investigations and thousands of arrests(many high n mighty too), the SIT will finally finish its probe on 15th July 2015.

Congress is understandably running scared of the SIT report. Is this why the Media Circus has belatedly woken up to Vyapam? And these sleuths want us to believe that their cooked up number of "mysterious deaths" happened just now?

The MP High Court monitoring the Vyapam (MPPEB) Scam probe is CORRUPT
The SIT (Special Investigation Team) investigating the Vyapam Scam, under the direct supervision of the High Court is CORRUPT

The STF (Special Task Force) probing the Vyapam Scam, reporting directly to HC is CORRUPT

The Supreme Court of India who in 2014, rejected Digvijay Singh's plea, seeking a CBI probe is also CORRUPT

MP CM Shivraj Chouhan, who originally unearthed the Vyapam scam of Congress Era and ordered a probe, is also CORRUPT
But Congress Digvijay Singh, who as per the HC, presented forged documents in court, to falsely implicate Shivraj Chouhan in Vyapam, is CLEAN

And the Media who misuses freedom of press to twist facts, goes against the SC ruling and demands a CBI probe... Plus connects every death to the Vyapam Scam, despite medical reports and evidence saying 'not connected', is CLEAN.

My question is simple, the 4th Pillar of Democracy(Media), has near collapsed due to a severe credibility crisis - Shouldn't they be pulled up suo moto by the courts for Contempt of Court in the way they are presenting the Vyapam Scam?
