Before discussing their training first let get it clear what kind of force they are,Marcos is the special force of navy their training is inhuman compared to NSG & Garuds.
Marcos is the naval special force and they one thing everybody knows that naval special force is one of the most dangerous special forces among all three services. There is one tradition among armed forces of the world that they dont keep take enemies naval SF as prisoner they execute them on the spot, cause those who come from water is the most dangerous.
On the other hand there are NSG, NSG is basically a paramilitary force which is responsible for counter terrorist operation withing the country, it work under Ministry of Home Affairs and they are quite good in what they do.
Garuds are basically created on the line of British SAS as a special force and they are trained like special forces but dont know why they haven’t acted like a spec op team yet on many occasions garuds failed to do their jobs properly and caused loss of precious human life to the country now they have limited their job profile to a QRT to any attack of air force base.
Training
Marocs - They are basically sailor and officers from different branches of navy volunteer for special forces just like para sf of Indian Army, their training regime is one of the most cruelest among special forces around the world and it is important cause the task is to turn sailors into hardcore Spec ops operatives. Some of the glimpses of Marcos training are..
NSG Training
Training of NSG is pretty limited yet very tough they are particularly trained for CBQ, Hand to Hand combat, martial arts and many more. NSG is pretty much elite in urban warfare just because larger portion of their force came from CAPF they have a training regime to train those to tackle most challenging hostile situations.
Yes thats a Royal Enfield 350 and those men under it are NSG trainees..
Garuds - Garuds are the most cool looking dudes in Indian Special Force community but they kindda failed in proving themselves, Garuds were initially developed to assist and perform special operation with IAF but due to recent incidents and their poor performance in it leads them into a doubt circle of whether they deserve the SF tag or not, now their role is centered towards base security only though their training is pretty tough.
Thanks for A2A..
